Drawing inspiration from SCOTT's mountain bike manufacturing approach, the Addict RC represents a complete reimagining of carbon road bike construction. The innovative PP Mandrel manufacturing process enables high-precision molding of inner surfaces and transition zones, paired with strength-optimized tube shapes that eliminate additional reinforcements and unnecessary filler material. The result is a remarkable 300g reduction in frame kit weight compared to its predecessor, achieving best-in-class tube profiles without sacrificing strength or stiffness.
The comprehensively redesigned geometry aligns seamlessly with modern road bike specifications, accommodating up to 34mm tires while enhancing handling consistency across all sizes. Advanced molding technology and a redesigned seat post clamping system allow for thinner seat tube walls, which, paired with the innovative Syncros SP-R101-CF seatpost, enhances flexibility and promotes added comfort during longer rides.
