STURDY

Bikeflights Bike Boxes are designed and rigorously tested to the ISTA 6A standard to offer confidence-inspiring levels of protection for your bike during shipping. To achieve ISTA 6A classification, the BBL had to withstand multiple drops of 18 inches and 36 inches, a horizontal compression force of up to 229 pounds, a vertical compression force of up to 1,732 pounds, and sustained vibration while loaded up to 300 pounds. 

Bikeflights Bike Boxes are also designed to protect your bike for one round-trip shipment or two one-way shipments, although we have found in our own experience that we often get more shipments per box. Service life varies depending on the duration of each shipment. It's normal for the box to show signs of wear as you use it -- that’s your box doing its job to protect your bike. 

SUSTAINABLE

Bikeflights Bike Boxes are reusable and recyclable. We have also minimized packaging waste by designing the outer cardboard wrapper to serve as a divider between your frame and front wheel when packing. The box is sealed using biodegradable plastic pinch clips, and the axle spacers are injection-molded recycled plastic.
