Utilizing a Blend dial, the overall low-end signal of your bass is preserved for mixing in to taste. The Lizard King works well with segmenting clean signal from affected signal as well as with going buck wild and taking in the full breadth of classic EHX fuzziness by mixing the two. This Blend works alongside a dedicated Octave control to roll in your own dose of octave effect. This combo is where all your best effect mixing will shine.
Controls landing on the Lizard King give it a deep interactivity that allow for precision in tonal shaping. Using Tone, Octave and Blend controls all together lets players truly breathe their own octave fuzz balance into their bass signal. Perfect for striking that perfect mix in the studio or onstage, interactivity is seamless and will certainly come in handy for finding tonal sweet spots as well as straying from the beaten path. On top of this is the Lizard King's Sun/Shadow switch which boosts the octave fuzz and midrange when set upwards and tightens fuzz tones when set downwards.
