The Tsakalis AudioWorks Mothership is a fully analog, tube-driven preamp and dual overdrive pedal that blurs the line between pedal and amplifier. Whether you're running direct, into a power amp, or into the front of a traditional amp, the Mothership delivers genuine tube tone, intuitive control, and deep flexibility!

At its core, the Mothership features two identical yet fully independent channels—each with its own four-band EQ, dual gain and volume stages (A/B), and three selectable gain modes. This quad-voice architecture lets you instantly switch between four different tones on the fly, either via the onboard footswitches or over MIDI. From crystalline cleans to searing distortion, the Mothership gives you full command over your gain structure and tonal shaping!

Cabinet simulation is equally robust, with three user-definable cab sim slots per channel and over 70 high-quality IRs available via the free TAW Editor app (Mac, PC, Linux). Uploading IRs is fast and easy via the Mothership's USB port, and with less than 1.2ms of latency, the response feels immediate and natural.

To complete the amp-like experience, the CAB output features an all-analog power amp simulation that replicates the feel and character of EL34 tubes in a push-pull topology—perfect for going straight to FOH or into an audio interface.

The Mothership also features a serial mono effects loop for adding modulation or delay between the preamp and cab sim sections. This loop remains active even in bypass mode, giving you more routing flexibility than most amp-in-a-box designs.

A dedicated dry output lets you connect to a traditional amp while still sending the cab-simmed signal elsewhere, and a ground lift switch keeps things clean on stage or in the studio. And with full MIDI integration and 128 user-programmable presets, the Mothership is a powerful and adaptable centerpiece for any modern guitar rig!
